The highlight of my stay was how easy it was to access the beach, just a few steps away, which was perfect for leisurely strolls along the shore, and with fun spots like Gulf World only 140 meters away and several restaurants like Sharky's Beachfront just 500 meters from the hotel, I had plenty to explore without needing to drive. The hotel had basic features and complimentary breakfast, but the overall experience could improve with better room maintenance and staff friendliness.

Disappointing experience. The room didn't match the presentation online. Issues ranged from a malfunctioning TV to dirty carpets and rusted fixtures. The shower drained poorly; water pooled during use. Accessibility is a real concern-no elevator and uneven paths made it difficult. Breakfast setup was inadequate, with overflowing trash. Staff was unhelpful, and there was no maid service during our six-night stay. Rooms lacked cleanliness standards. We had to exchange our own towels. This location needs significant improvement in maintenance and service. For the price, it's simply not worth it. There are better options available. Avoid if cleanliness and comfort are priorities.

As soon as we walked in, it felt like we had stepped into a time machine back to the '70s. The carpet was ripped and had that musty smell that makes you want to keep your shoes on at all times. The bedding had a huge yellow stain on it. I mean, how does that even happen? The bathroom was another story. The shower curtains looked like they had seen better days, with some red stains that I really didn't want to investigate further. And let's talk about the housekeeping - or lack thereof. We had to get by with just two towels for four days because apparently, that was all they had. And don't even get me started on the parking situation. The location was great, right there on the beach. And the hot tub was a nice touch, even though I was too scared to actually use it. I did appreciate the efforts of the staff who tried to fix the sliding glass door, even though it remained more of a decoration than a functional door. the Ramada needs some serious renovations. It's stuck in the past, and not in a charming retro way. For the price we paid, I expected a lot more. Hopefully, they take these issues seriously and make some much-needed improvements. Oh, and don't even get me started on the lack of garden furniture. Who doesn't want to sit back and relax on a nice chair with a view of the beach? That was a big disappointment for me.

Despite a few minor issues, my stay at this beachfront hotel was overall enjoyable. The location was perfect, with stores, restaurants, and the beach just a short walk away. The ocean view from the room was breathtaking, making up for any shortcomings.

The "ocean front" room ended up being on the bottom floor with a view of a concrete sidewalk and the pool area.
